課程概述

This course is designed to prepare students to apply the theory of stress-adaptation to examine the human responses and needs in physiological, pathological, experiential and behavioral dimensions. This course focuses on preparing students for the critical thinking of clinical reasoning and evidence-based nursing knowledge. Based on the comprehensive understanding, students will build their theoretical basis for advanced clinical nursing.

 

課程目標
 1. To describe the physiological and pathological changes in the major problems of patient care.
2. To understand the patients' experiential and behavioral models while they suffer from health problems.
3. To understand the role and function of clinical nurse specialist.
4. To know the evidence-based nursing practice and related ethical, legal and social issues.
5.To use systematic review to explore the impact of specific nursing issues and related nursing intervention on individual patients.
6.To integrate the concept and principles of patient safety into daily nursing practice.
7. To explore the way of building a culture of safe practice in nursing work environment.
8. To apply the theory of outcome management into related nursing care issues.
9. To develop and integrate the knowledge and skills of symptom management to patient care.
10.To analyze the contribution of nursing interventions to the improvement of health and quality of life in patients and family.
